Heroes Con 08 - Walkthough Video

I tend to forget I have a camcorder. Often I forget to bring it to an event. Sometimes I forget I recorded something from the event. Usually I forget I have the camera at the event. Heroes Con was a combination of the latter two. The entire weekend I recorded one walk through and busted it out 2 more times for about 5 minutes during the show. What follows it what I ended up with. The music accompanying the video is from the band Cutlery. They have the "Americans in Love" ad in the back of the Dollar Bin: Friends Assembled book for all of you who own a copy.

Wide Awake Press - The Kids Table?

This interview was previously recorded in January at the Charlotte Mini Con. It’s been finely aging in the vault.

Sometimes it is hard to do “serious” interviews with people you consider friends. When those people are J Chris and Duane even our serious reporting staff can find it hard to stay on topic. Or as you’ll hear in this clip from CMC 07’ even find one.

Live from Heroes Arent Hard to Find - War Heroes Tour

This past weekend Brian and I, Adam, spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in Charlotte, NC at Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find. Why were we there you ask. Well, obviously you haven’t been paying much attention. Mark Millar and Tony Harris stopping by on their tour supporting War Heroes of course! I bet you can’t wait to hear what we got outta them, huh? Oh yeah, and guess who else stopped by. Tommy Lee Edwards! I got to talk with him for a while and we got sweet sketches. So without further delay I give you an amazing podcast with everyone at Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find excluding the 3 guests I just mentioned. Enjoy.

Terry Goes to San Diego

As we seek to spread the gospel of the Dollar Bin, not nationwide but world wide, we often try to reach out to our listeners and commentators to become even bigger parts of the movement. One such friend of the cast is Terry LaCaze who recently made the journey from Missouri all the way to San Diego for the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. Not only was Terry cool enough to rock a DB Tour t-shirt at Comic Con, but he was also nice enough to let Adam and I give him a call early one Saturday morning for this interview about his trip.

Rappin With Richard - San Diego Comic Con 2008

Where in the world is Richard… San Diego?

Every year going to the San Diego Comic Con is a tradition for creators, publishers, retailers and fans. No exception to that rule is our pal Richard Morgan, owner of Richard’s Comics and Collectables in Greenville SC. So for our second year in a row, we stop by his shop to get his thoughts on the biggest and most fun business trip he takes each year.
